SCHRUMPFLEDER

Traditional tanning techniques combined with cutting-edge finishing techniques - the result is our fascinating SCHRUMPFLEDER! Each hide is unique. The best central European bullhides are shrunk in barrels following old techniques. During this complicated process, the leather loses up to 30% of its surface area, but achieves a unique grain pattern with a beautiful crest effect, which makes for exciting storytelling, even in small leather goods. All SCHRUMPFLEDER is classically dyed through in cognac and then receives a pigment treatment on the grain side.
