Cleaning and care instruction
ATLANTIC is thick and strong high-quality semi-aniline leather. Due to the thin protective layer, this leather is not too sensitive.
For everyday cleaning, it is sufficient to occasionally dust off the leather with a feather duster or a dry dust cloth.
Visible dirt and stains can be cleaned with Leather Cleaner Mild. Fresh stains can be removed immediately with a soft cloth or paper towel. Don’t rub too hard! Clean remaining dirt and stains with Mild Leather Cleaner.
For difficult stains, it is always better to contact a specialist first. Damage can easily occur due to improper cleaning attempts.
For maintenance, we recommend Leather Protector. It’s a protective cream with the necessary moisturizing oils and UV protection. It protects the leather from fading and keeps it soft. Depending on the strain, heat, and light intensity, the leather should be sparingly maintained every three to twelve months.
In high-traffic areas such as hotels, fast food restaurants, meeting rooms, aircraft or ships, the surface is more stressed and mechanical damages, colouration of jeans and soiling on lighter leather occur more often. In such cases we recommend Leather Shield (Leder Versiegelung). Leather Shield is a strong protection against wear, stains and jeans colouration. Leather Shield should be applied after each cleaning or at least every two months to prolong the durability of the leather.
When both care products are used, the treatment with Leather Shield is always to be applied before the treatment with Leather Protector. Let dry between the treatments.
Colour damages because of wear can be adjusted with Leather Fresh.
